April

UK mega star Sam Smith is performing at the O2 on the 6-10^th April and right after on the 11^th April it’s Mr Harry Styles himself performing 2 gigs there.

Underbelly Festival at Southbank commences on the 6^th April, Enjoy a fun-packed festival of live entertainment and al-fresco eating and drinking. Stretching throughout the summer, the festival returns for the 10th year with stages full of affordable circus, theatre, cabaret, comedy, music and children’s shows on the south bank of the Thames.

21^st April is the Queens actual birthday, Happy Birthday ma’am

22^nd April, it’s that time of year and it’s the London Marathon, Enjoy the party atmosphere and cheer on the thousands of participants from the sidelines as they run past some of London’s top landmarks.

The Ey Exhibition at the Tate showcases Picassos “A month-by-month journey through Picasso’s year of wonders” thru to September this year. This is the first ever solo Pablo Picasso exhibition at Tate Modern. It will bring you face-to-face with more than 100 paintings, sculptures and drawings, mixed with family photographs and rare glimpses into his personal life.

For the first time in nearly 20 years at the National Gallery there is the “Monet and Architecture“ exhibition,  Monet painted the architecture of his time – modern, historic, simple and grand.

This is a new way of looking at Monet’s work. It shows how he used architecture to create his compositions, both in his most famous paintings and lesser-known works

Cheltenham Jazz Festival is taking place from 2 – 7 May 2018. The festival is hosted in a tented festival village in Cheltenham’s Montpellier Gardens, featuring a Big Top stage, the Jazz Arena, a Family Tent featuring workshops, performances and sing-alongs and a food and drink area surrounding the Free Stage.

Arcadia 10th Anniversary Festival at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 5-6^th May, Be amazed by gigantic robotic spiders, pyrotechnics and dance music during Arcadia’s 10th anniversary celebrations.

Photo London at Somerset House from 17^th May for 3 days, Find world-class photography at this large-scale fair attracting leading galleries and artists.

We celebrate the Royal Wedding of as Prince Harry marries Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle on the 19^th May, the couple will exchange vows at Midday and just so you know, pubs will  stay open in England and Wales until 1am on the 18^th and 19^th May.

They are back on the road and in London 22^nd and 25^th May, yes it’s the Rolling Stones !!!

This is Cheesy – JOIN THE CHEESE REVOLUTION,!!! From May 26 to May 28, 2018, The London Cheese Project will again transform the tranquil gardens of the Geffrye Museum into a debauched cheesy paradise full of oozing curd and the fanciest of artisan rinds.

9^th June Watch troops from the Household Division honour the Queen’s official birthday with a fantastic military parade that has taken place in London for two centuries.

Open Garden Squares Weekend. 9- 10 June. Explore rooftop gardens, city centre plantations, and the gardens of the rich and famous, as green spaces across London are unlocked for one weekend only.

Ever wanted to stay in Treehouse , well its possible at the luxury hotel in the New Forest, Chewton Glenn. They built a number of secluded getaways, high up in the tree canopy, using materials that blend in to the New Forest surroundings.
