Sherlock Holmes Tour
“Come Watson, the game’s afoot!” With the release of Guy Ritchie’s new film SHERLOCK HOLMES, the master detective has made a stunning comeback (if indeed he ever went away) and London is once again his stamping ground.
So, in the company of our Blue Badge Guide, why not walk in the footsteps of Holmes and Watson and visit the film locations: Baker Street, where his rooms in Mrs Hudson’s house at 221B are faithfully recreated at the Sherlock Holmes Museum; take tea at the Criterion in Piccadilly where Dr Watson was first introduced to the great Detective, or drop in for a drink at the Sherlock Holmes Pub, formerly the Northumberland Hotel where Henry Baskerville lodged before keeping his appointment with the ghostly Hound.
Through 56 short stories, 4 novels and innumerable films London has provided the backdrop to the adventures of Holmes and Watson. So instead of just watching the movie come and be part of the plot!
